How accurate is the menu analysis?

MenuVision uses advanced AI to analyze menus, but it may not be 100% accurate. We identify both stated ingredients (explicitly on the menu) and assumed ingredients (likely based on cooking methods). Always confirm with your server before ordering, especially for severe allergies.

What types of menus work best?

MenuVision works best with clearly printed menus with good lighting. It handles most fonts, multiple columns, and even handwritten specials. For best results, make sure the menu fills most of the photo frame and text is readable.

Does it work with foreign language menus?

Yes! MenuVision can analyze menus in Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, and many other languages. The app will translate dishes to English and identify ingredients regardless of the original language.

How do credits work?

Each menu scan uses 1 credit, regardless of how many photos you take of that menu (up to 6 images per scan). Your first scan is free! After that, you can purchase credit packs starting at $0.99 for 5 credits. Credits never expire.

Can I update my dietary preferences?

Yes! Go to Settings in the app to update your allergies, dislikes, diet type, and dietary restrictions at any time. Your saved menus will automatically update to reflect your new preferences.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings in the app or email us at menuvisioncontact@gmail.com with your request.
